The founders and owners of White Door Events are no strangers to the event industry.
Stan and Beth White began their original company Grand Rental Station in early 1990 with the goal to bring event and party rental products to the Memphis region that were not available to the market at that time. The company soon picked up momentum as the demand grew, and quickly established its noticeable presence in the event business.
Over the next 15 years Grand Rental Station would continue to flourish in the event rental industry as they assisted in over thousands of different events. Throughout the course of that time they would make three different facility moves, each to a larger space to accommodate the ever-growing product inventory. During the final move, the company was renamed Grand Events & Party Rentals.
In early 2005 Stan and Beth acquired Party Place, an event rental company based in Nashville, Tennessee that serviced many high profile clients and events. Grand Events & Party Rentals became one of the largest event rental companies in the nation after the acquisition with a total of over 160 employees.
In 2007 the Los Angeles-based Classic Party Rentals approached the company, and in mid 2007 Grand Events & Party Rentals was sold. Beth and Stan continued to manage the Memphis location, and in late 2013 together resigned after 25 years of servicing thousands of events and collecting just as many memories.
After taking time to refresh, their passion is rejuvenated and now wholly focused on building a creative and progressive event rental company, White Door Events.
The name White Door Events was chosen to identify them and at the same time to be inviting. Their goals & desires have always been to listen, to serve and to help customers create that perfect event. They and their team feel all customers and vendors are family because the event industry is a lifestyle and they get to work with many great and passionate people every day!
