Through concept development, curated product coordination, and onsite event set management our design consultants can transform any space into an extraordinary environment.

 

We offer 30 years of experience delivering industry-leading and trend-setting event design, décor, and rental production services. Known for innovative, forward-thinking designs we provide complete, cohesive décor elements for weddings, corporate events, productions, social galas, parties and other special gatherings. Our goal is to be your preferred collaborator for event design and entrusted supplier for event rentals.
 

Our History

Beth and Stan White began their original company, Grand Rental Station, in early 1990 with the goal of bringing event and party rental products that were not available to the Memphis market at that time. The company soon picked up momentum as the demand grew and quickly established its noticeable presence in the event business.

Over the next fifteen years Grand Rental Station continued to flourish in the industry as they assisted with thousands of events. Throughout the course of that time they would make three moves, each to a larger space that accommodated the ever-growing product inventory. During the final move, the company was renamed Grand Events & Party Rentals.

In early 2005, Stan and Beth acquired Party Place, a Nashville, Tennessee event company that serviced many high-profile clients and events. Grand Events & Party Rentals became one of the largest event rental companies in the nation after the acquisition with over 160 employees.

In 2007 the Los Angeles-based Classic Party Rentals approached the company, and in mid-2007 Grand Events & Party Rentals was sold. Beth and Stan continued to manage the Memphis location, and in late 2013 together resigned after 25 years of servicing thousands of events and collecting just as many memories.

After taking time off to revitalize themselves, they realized their true passion is building a creative and progressive event rental company.

The name White Door Events was chosen to identify them and at the same time to be inviting. Their goals and desires have always been to listen, serve, and assist customers to create the perfect event. Beth and Stan, along with their team, feel all customers and vendors are like family and treat the event industry as a lifestyle. They feel blessed to work with many great and passionate people every day!

In 2017, White Door Events expanded with the opening of a second location in Nashville, Tennessee.

In June of 2025, White Door Events proudly opened its third location in New Orleans, Louisiana. Having already designed and produced many memorable events in the Big Easy, the team is excited to deepen their roots in this region and look forward to what is to come. As they say in New Orleans, “Let the good times roll!”
