From NOLA with Love

It’s always easy to have a good time when you’re in the Big Easy. In honor of this new decade’s first Fat Tuesday, we’re featuring a special corporate event in New Orleans, where traditional Mardi Gras colors are used to create a contemporary look with an indulgence of our favorite furnishings.

Set in the renowned Mardi Gras World where floats from past parades are housed, vignettes of lounge seating were scattered throughout. With such animated backgrounds all around, furnishings with clean lines and simple silhouettes were used to create balance.

The iconic Gold • Green • Purple colors of Mardi Gras inspired a playful design of furniture arrangements. Our Gold Lena Love Seat got the bold treatment with Gold Mercy Arm Chair and Emerald Ava Club Chair mixed in and accessorized with pops of Plum Crushed Taffeta pillows.

The Velvet Green Sofa, basked in saturation, blended well with Brass Regency Chairs flanked on either side. Dark Lime and Plum Crushed Taffeta pillows perched on top. Mercury Lanterns added a dazzle of jazz as tabletop centerpieces.

A cluster of Grass Green and Purple Kelli Cubes paired with Tribeca Side Tables, continuing the cohesive scheme of rich colors and touchable velvets.

This event showcased how to celebrate in the Paris of the South, where the good times rolled that still has us chanting “Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler.”
