Green GLAMOUR: A LIVELY botanic wedding reception
This March, we’re reminiscing about an unforgettable evening at the Cadre, where we collaborated with planner, Emily Sanders Taylor. We designed a breathtaking reception and brought it to life. With a palette of rich greens and ivory tones, this reception embodied a sophisticated garden party.
Stepping into the Cadre, guests were immediately transported into a refined space framed by floor-to-floor Avocado Green Velvet drapery. Some would say that they have never seen the Cadre look like this before; that it was completely transformed. The custom velvet drape, flowing seemingly from the ceiling to floor, added an extra layer of drama and elegance which created an environment inspired by nature.
The floral design was nothing short of breathtaking. Our Ficus Blooming Trees played a crucial role in making the space feel lively and fresh. Bistro and cocktail tables created a layered and inviting atmosphere. The elevated tables encourage a chic, social setting, while the lower tables offer a more intimate dining experience. Soft neutral linens, black chiavari chairs, and barstools provided the perfect “pop”, while candlelit accents complement architectural details.
Lounge vignettes were designed to feel like an extension of a high-end, bespoke speakeasy. Every element invited guests to unwind in an environment of refined luxury. This made the evening feel like a curated, high-society gathering rather than a traditional wedding reception. As the evening unfolded, guests were drawn to the sleek black dance floor subtly adorned with divine floral accents. The custom dance floor wrap, featuring an intricate botanical-inspired design, tied the overall theme of lively elegance.
The night was a thoughtful blend of curated designs, where every detail worked in harmony to create an unforgettable experience. As guests filled the dance floor, surrounded by the warmth of candlelight and aesthetic interiors, it was clear this celebration was something truly special. We loved bringing this vision to life and look forward to crafting more extraordinary moments in the future.
